Thanks *Joe*:) Sounds like it will have to go back. The tank could be jiggered because when I moved it I found a pool of water underneath. Its capacity if bigger than my little flat. I thought this, but the machine is capable. BUT from my understanding there is nothing you can do: The machine isn't filling up the tank, it is water in the air condensing, so either: you have very humid air, or the tank in your machine is too small for the intended purpose. Firstly I will star by saying that my Air Con doesn't have a tank, it evaporates the water in the exhaust. Any help/advice greatly appreciated.:) Thank you. I think Fat Controller and Secam use these contraptions. The bloody thing weighs 30kg and lifting it up on top of the sink to drain the water is not an option after every 90 minutes. Does anyone who uses a portable air-conditioner have this problem? How often do you have to drain the condensed water? I am thinking there's a fault with mine, but do not want to take it back to the shop only to look a fool when they tell me I'm doing something wrong. The troubleshooting page doesn't say this. Switched it back on and after another 90 minutes it was full again. After 90 minutes? Anyway I drained the tank (bloody difficult). According to the panel the internal tank was full.
